Endorsement of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA)

We are pleased to inform our academic and scientific community that CISAI has formally endorsed the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), an international initiative that promotes responsible, transparent, and equitable practices in the evaluation of scientific research.

The adoption of DORA reflects our commitment to the continuous improvement of academic evaluation processes, recognizing the need to move beyond approaches based solely on traditional metrics such as the impact factor. In this regard, the journal will promote a comprehensive assessment of research outputs, taking into account their methodological quality, scientific relevance, societal contribution, and openness of knowledge.

In line with these principles, the following practices will be encouraged:

• Qualitative evaluation of scientific content by expert peer reviewers.
• Transparency in editorial processes.
• Promotion of open science and open access.

This endorsement reaffirms our commitment to a more just, inclusive, and impact-oriented system of scholarly communication.
