Download in Spanish | Download in English - Authorization for Use of Copyrighted Material: required if including previously published images, figures, or textual excerpts. No formal document is necessary; having citation or authorization backup is sufficient if requested. If not applicable, this requirement can be omitted.
It is important to emphasize that once the editorial process has started, changes in authorship or the fundamental structure of the manuscript will not be accepted.
Technical Requirements for Submission
- The manuscript must be submitted in an editable format compatible with common word processors (e.g., LastName_MainAuthor_ShortTitle.docx); PDF files will not be accepted.
- Tables must be inserted as editable elements within the text, not as images, and numbered consecutively in the order they appear.
- Figures should be submitted in JPG or similar format, with adequate resolution for printing (minimum 300 dpi), including source references if not original work.
- The document must include both tables and figures within the body of the text, with their respective numbering and descriptive captions.
Editorial Review Process
Once the submission is received and compliance with legal and technical requirements is verified, the manuscript will undergo a preliminary review that includes:
- Evaluation of thematic relevance and originality of the work.
- Use of specialized tools for similarity or plagiarism detection (e.g., Turnitin).
- Review of citation rigor and adherence to the IEEE bibliographic style.
- Verification of compliance with editorial guidelines regarding structure, format, and style.
Once the manuscript is deemed acceptable, the corresponding author will be notified to start the peer review process.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and integrity of the data, analyses, and interpretations presented. Any omission or falsification constitutes a serious breach of scientific ethics. The journal declines all responsibility regarding disputes about authorship or content, which remain the sole responsibility of the manuscript signatories.
Confidentiality and Anonymity
The peer review process is conducted under a double-blind modality, ensuring that neither reviewers nor authors know each other's identity during the evaluation. Personal information of the authors will only be disclosed once the article has been definitively accepted for publication.
