Abstract

Contemporary digital innovation is no longer a strictly technological exercise; it has become a process that interacts with everyday life, human decisions, and social challenges. Volume 2, Number 1, entitled “Integrated Technologies for Digital Innovation,” brings together research conducted in Peru and Ecuador that reflects this transition, showing how the integration of emerging technologies makes sense when anchored in real contexts. In this context, mHealth solutions applied to prenatal care show that technology can accompany vital processes from continuous care and emotional support, while the analysis of digital marketing in fashion retail confirms that user satisfaction acts as an essential link between digital systems and organizational value. In turn, artificial intelligence-driven educational platforms and technological developments in agribusiness reveal how innovation transforms learning and productivity without losing sight of the human experience. Finally, the review of cyber-physical systems in the smart home domain raises questions about their intervention and human-system interaction mechanisms, especially in terms of autonomy, explainability, security, and user acceptance.
